Trends!!

Hello loves, I hope today has been amazing! Today we are talking about…TRENDS!!!!! 

As we leave summer and roll into fall we are bringing a lot of these trends with us. 

First let’s talk about one of my favorite things, colors: 

Dark cherry red and dark brown will be THE colors this fall. Both of these warm colors pair so nicely with the fall feeling, and they pair even better together. Let’s just say, I’m definitely on board with these colors. In addition to this duo, I think we’ll still be seeing some more butter-yellow appearances until we get deeper into fall, and much more navy, which I feel will ride out till the end of 2024.

Next, moving on to patterns:

Cheetah and tortoise shell prints are staying. There’s been some controversy about tortoise, saying that it’s a wanna-be cheetah print, but I don’t think it’s going anywhere. Cheetah print is such a statement and can be so classy when done right. Tortoise is a little bit more settle, especially when it’s darker. To say the least, both are trending and here to stay.

On to textures!

Two words. Leather. Suede. Leather has been trending for a little while now, and it’s definitely going to continue to trend going into fall. Leather is just so chic and can spice up any outfit. From going out fits to casual fits, leather can do it for you. Now suede. Let me just tell you suede is SO in, this fall. Suede is giving everyone’s outfit the extra boost that it needs. We’ll be seeing a lot of suede shoes and jackets.

Highrise out. Lowrise in. 

Lowrise is back and better than ever. First of all, I just have to say everyone needs to stop trying to make their highrise jeans into lowrise jeans. It’s not a look. Just go buy lowrise jeans. Lowrise everything is making an appearance. Pairing lowrise denim jeans with a longlined fitted tee + shoulder bag and some sort of sneaker. OBSESSED.

Clothes, Clothes, Clothes!

Cardigans, maxi skirts, and pantsuits. All are very popular and will continue to be going into fall. Paring a simple cardigan with any outfit escalates your outfit and gives it the cherry on top! (speaking of cherry… a dark cherry red or navy cardigan paired with any outfit. perfection.) Maxi skirts were very summery with all the floral prints and starting to trend. We will certainly be seeing more of them this fall in more solid, warm colors. Maxi skirts are honestly so refreshing to see and give such a free and flowy vibe. Lastly pantsuits! This is not an everyday look for most of us but for those in the office and running around to meetings all day, love. They are IN. Pantsuits are so classy and fashionable when done right. To add onto the whole pantsuit trend, blazers with no top underneath paired with a mini skirt, are so chic and very trendy.

Lastly accessories:

There are a lot of trending accessories right now, but I want to focus on shoulder bags. Shoulder bags are the PERFECT addition to an outfit. They make every outfit feel complete and are such a staple in all closets. Shoulder bags are a must.
